June 28 will see the official start of the two-day congregation that aims to elevate the spectators’ experience teleporting spectators in a world of unlimited horse racing possibilities. The horse-racing leader announced the official sponsors for this year’s Thoroughbred racing event.

Queen’s Plater Festival is renowned as the oldest running Thoroughbred horse race in Canada. Its inaugural edition took place in 1860, making it North America’s oldest horse race that is still in progress. Every year the special event is anticipated by horse racing enthusiasts from near and far, many of them associate it with warm childhood memories and fond experiences. It is one of the three live races part of the Canadian Triple Crown that spans across the summer months.

Premium Live Horse Racing Commences Soon

Many leading brands would support the horse racing congregation which has a pivotal role in the Canadian racing industry. Some of them are part of the gaming field of Ontario, such as Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. The leading force in the local gaming field will have the chance to boost the live race and make it even more exciting for participants and enthusiasts.

Other entities that will support the live race are champagne producer G.H. Mumm, luxury vehicle automaker Lexus, Belgian pilsner Stella Artois, Canada’s oldest award-winning whiskey J.P Wiser’s, and sparkling water Bubly. G.H. Mumm, J.P. Wiser’s and Bubly would support the live event for the very first time. These brands are projected to improve the first out of three live Thoroughbred races.

It should also be taken into account that the entire action is going to be televised on CTV and TSN. The event itself is iconic not only because of the entire horse racing experience but also because of the food offerings, the people that would make their way there, the celebrities enjoying the Thoroughbred horse racing thrill, as well as the signature atmosphere present on site.

June 28 Draws Celebrities, Influencers, More

Three-year-old horses are going to race during the special two-day event at the 1 1⁄4-mile racetrack. A maximum of 17 horses could race at once, guaranteeing a thrill like no other. Daniel Caulfield, Head of Corporate Partnerships, Groups & Events for Woodbine Entertainment recently made it clear that the first live event of the Canadian Triple Crown Would come with purse distribution of CA$600,000 for the winning horse.

This is not the sole reason why this summer is projected to be a heated one. Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation recently announced its plans to introduce a bonus reward for the horse who manages to win all three of the races part of the Canadian Triple Crown.

Whoever manages to climb all the way to the top of all three rank lists would bag some CA$500,000. What should be taken into account is that over the past 60 years this triple race has seen only 12 winners. Five of them became champions before 1959.
