Montreal Opens Its Heart for First Esports Central Surreal Venue this Saturday

The eSports scene is among the fastest growing ones on a global scale and projections are that it is going to become part of the next Olympics taking place next summer. Canadians are more drawn to the entertainment and gaming possibilities created by the eSports field, which has naturally led to the creation of the first Esports Central entertainment zone in the very heart of Montreal. The official launch will be on Saturday, June 1.

It is no secret to anyone that the world of eSports offers a myriad of opportunities for both gaming and gambling. People interested in following closely the battles taking place are also willing to bet on the most proficient team on the stage. In this sense, eSports allows both players and spectators to experience the thrill of gaming and the excitement of observing professional gamers perform in a stellar way.

Esports Elevates Both Gaming and Gambling

Over the past years, a visible shift could be noticed, as more and more Canadians learn about the true potential of competitive video gaming. The vast opportunities it offers are enough to propel its popularity among locals.

As it was revealed by a recent study conducted by Mintel and published in its Attitudes toward Gaming, some 22 percent of the Canadians consider eSports equal to traditional sporting events. This means that more and more individuals learn about gaming opportunities and would be eager to give it a try down the road. This Saturday is going to be special, as it will see the official launch of operation of Esports Central, the gaming hub of downtown Montreal.

Teaming up with D-BOX Technologies Inc. this location is about to transform the local eSports scene and bring an even larger number of people to it. Esports Central is going to make it possible for individuals of all ages to experience the true scale of a racing competition with the help of six VRX simulators available on site of the new center.

British Columbia Also Prepares for Esports

D-BOX Technologies is a local company that has been preparing the ground for this launch for quite a while. Montreal appears to be ready to welcome even more eSports opportunities, that could bring enthusiasts a step closer to the on-stage experience of a real eSports tournament. Race simulations are expected to draw the attention of people of all ages and attendance could get higher as time progresses.

However, said simulators would not be the most exciting thing on site of the new 14,000-square-foot center. There will also be nearly a hundred top-notch PCs ready to power every eSports battle, as well as some 25 gaming consoles for the die-hard console gaming fans. The Esports Center is also going to feature two Virtuix Omni VR stations, able to teleport players above and beyond their wildest dreams.

The area is also bringing a fully-fledged dining offering, as well as a constant stream of sports and gaming events, setting the mood. While Quebec is working on its eSports scene, British Columbia is also preparing for the official launch of its first eSports stadium called The Gaming Stadium, built in Richmond. Myesports Ventures Ltd is working on the project and the projected launch could take place in the upcoming months.
