Evolution Gaming, a live dealer solution provider for LeoVegas Casino and many more, launched the world’s first Live Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker with a €50,000 Progressive Jackpot on Wednesday. The creation was developed in partnership with Games Marketing.
The new game is available on smartphone, tablet, and desktop and offers two optional side bets giving players a double bonus. There’s a regular bonus bet, paid from the paytable, and the First Five Progressive Jackpot bet. Each bet gives players an extra chance to win even when the dealer beats their hand.
Both side bets are optional and the Bonus bet pays the standard 1000:1 for the top hand. The First Five Progressive Jackpot side bet offers fixed odds prizes for a range of poker hands up to Royal Flush which pays the progressive jackpot which grows with every bet starting from Evolution’s seed money of €50,000. The longer it takes to win, the bigger the pot will become.
Evolution Gaming’s Chief Product Officer, Todd Haushalter said: “The game is already well-established in the RNG and land-based casino worlds, so being the first and only live provider to offer Texas Hold’em Bonus is exciting for us. To add to the excitement, Evolution is funding a progressive jackpot that will start at €50,000. This is the first time we have ever launched a new game with a progressive jackpot on day one, so players will find a lot to like about the live version of Texas Hold’em Bonus.”
He went on to speak of his company’s investment in the rights to use trademark games such as Three Card Poker, Caribbean Stud, and Casino Hold’em so that players at partner casinos will find any poker game they want and any game they might find in a land-based casino. The thought is to make the transition between streaming and land casinos seamless, according to a press release from the company.
Evolution’s Riga, Latvia studios are streaming the game live but operators have to sign up for the Live Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker program in order for the company to enable the optional Progressive Jackpot side bet.
